New Drains
A build up of water in the bath, shower or kitchen sink is a sure sign that your pipes are clogged and need to be unblocked. You can use various chemicals, but it’s best to call a professional as the chemicals can cause damage to your pipes and drains if they’re not used properly. Please remember, harsh corrosive chemicals are also harmful to the environment and should be handled and disposed of correctly.
Kitchen and bathroom renovations
Blouberg Plumbing offers 18 years of bathroom renovation experience. If required, Blouberg Plumbing can guide the owner with their decisions regarding the best materials, sanitary ware and layout.
There is no job too big or too small, Victorian or modern.
Plumbing Services: Re tubes
Blouberg Plumbing offers a time and cost-saving alternative to re-plum properties. By blanking off the old pipework in the walls and running the new piping in trunking on the surface of the walls, there is minimal wall chopping to open existing pipework and minimal tiling and painting work required on closing.
Plumbing Services: Shower Bases
5 year guarantee on all shower bases. Once confirmed as leaking and causing damage, the shower base is chopped back to floor level and left to dry. The new waste and stainless steel trap is set during this time too. Once the waterproofing barrier has dried, a final layer of cement goes on. This cement contains a waterproofing additive and leaves enough space for the tiling to complete the job.
Plumbing compliancy certificate
The water bylaw came into effect on 18 February, 2011 and it is a legal requirement for all future property sales in the Western Cape.
This certificate ensures that the property meets all the listed requirements as per the bylaw
